NASR Ranks Oregon Firearms Academy as a 4 Star Rating!
OFA is only one of six other facilities to earn this distinction!

We are excited to announce that the National Association of Shooting Ranges (NASR), a division of the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), recently rated Oregon Firearms Academy LLC (OFA) as a Four Star Shooting Range! OFA is one of only six other shooting ranges in the United States to receive this honor.

Four and five star facilities are simply the best of the best at providing a quality experience to their students/customers and representing the shooting sports in their community. To meet the criteria of a 4 Star Facility, OFA must demonstrate excellence in all aspects of business, range, training, management and operations. Ranges are rated on appearance, management, customer service, amenities, customer development and community relations.

OFA has for the last two years been investing a significant amount of capital and sweat into the development and improvement of our business making it one of the premier training facilities in the Pacific Northwest. As Alumni you have witnessed the construction of a brand new classroom, expanded Alumni Pro Shop, improved parking area, new student support areas, a newly constructed cooking/dining facility called the "Rusty Skillet", and improved bathroom facilities. OFA has earned a reputation as a provider of world-class customer service & student support. Additionally, the range has been widened and improved along with a significant investment in both manual and electronically operated dynamic/moving paper and steel reactive targeting systems from Action Target. OFA has a temporary tactical simulator (shoot house) with a permanent modular simulator slated for completion by the time John & Vicki Farnam show up for their Advanced Defensive Handgun Course in October. Currently, in addition to the "open to the public" courses offered on weekends and private tutoring on weekdays, OFA is renting our four star facility to law enforcement agencies and other businesses throughout the Northwest for the training and development of their officers, employees, and SWAT teams during weekdays and evenings.
