Close Encounters of the Worst Kind!SM
BULLETS AND BLADES AT CLOSE RANGE

$300 per person

16 hour course

7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Skill level: Intermediate
Prerequisites: Basic Handgun Safety & Defensive Handgun 1 or their Equivalent

This class focuses on the realities of close quarter fighting and self defense. This course is an integration of handgun and edge weapon skills. Those who are serious about self-defense carry a pocket knife or "clip-it" type of folder. Yet most have never trained with their knife and are are totally unprepared to use it as a defensive tool. It is our experience those who do not train and practice transitioning to an edged weapon when their handgun fails to fire will certainly not do so under stress. Come and find out how you'll perform when your handgun malfunctions and a simulated threat is closing ground on you!

This class is two days of FUN, INTENSIVE training that WILL change your perspective on choosing, carrying and using different types of knives with your handgun, including transitions, retention, reloading and malfunctions.

Learn repetitive muscle memory inducing movements, that will aid in your personal defense package as well as understand the strengths and weaknesses of the knife.

"Dulled Edged" Trainer Knives will be provided and used throughout the course.
These training knives are for sale in our Pro Shop.

You can expect individual coaching on the proper
and effective use of an edged weapon as a primary or back-up.

Discover in this unique course that understanding, practice, perseverance and the ability to perform under the pressure and possibility and/or reality of pain, injury or death, will determine the success of the outcome.

Our minds and our will are our best weapons, information and training can enhance our abilities, but without the drive to succeed at any cost, the outcomes are limited.

"We can teach anyone how to fight, but we I cannot teach anyone to BE a fighter". It is a choice.
