This is an excellent 12-hour intermediate level training course
for those who are serious about legally carrying a concealed handgun
for self-defense. This class goes way beyond what is taught in
our Defensive 1 course. You'll learn about methods of conceal
carry, concealed handgun selection options, holsters, equipment,

be introduced to methods of drawing a handgun from concealment
and introduction into Team Tactics including how to communication,
shoot and move with a partner.
The focus of this course is on using a handgun for legal concealed
carry self-defense.
In addition to DH2 you're also introduced to defending yourself
in a low light to no light situation. You'll learn about what
light technology works and doesn't work - trust us many of the
"gear" experts on forums don't always know what works
best for defense. You'll learn new tactics and techniques specifically
for surviving in variable to no light scenarios.
NOTE:
Regardless of weather conditions we will train and shoot outdoors. We do have
a heated enclosed area to store gear and to get out of the inclement weather during
breaks. Please dress appropriately for the weather! |

DH2 is an intermediate level course and focuses on legal
conceal carry for self-defense or off-duty. Part of the classroom lecture covers
holster, belt, and conceal carry accessories selection. As you can see by the
"pile" of holsters and belts in the foreground, students can get a first
hand look at what works and what doesn't work. Several students said this portion
of the class saved them money on "what not to buy!" |
